Tracy Shaw's biography
Tracy Shaw was born on 28 July 1973 in Belper, Derbyshire in the Talbot Hotel that was run by her parents at that time. Not many things are known about her childhood years, but as a teenager, she attended courses in Derbyshire at St. Benedict's high school. In 1990, she began studies in Manchester at the Arden School of Theatre where she obtained her degree in theatre studies a couple of years later.
After graduating, she started her career as an actor and appeared in several British soap operas. Definitely, her most important role was the one of Maxine Peacock in the soap opera called "Coronation Street". She appeared in 23 episodes from 1995 until 2003 when the controversial but popular character she played was murdered. Since then, Tracy Shaw featured several British low budget movies without making an outstanding performance in any of them.
Tracy's personal life was quite agitated and includes a marriage with Robert Ashworth that started in 2001 and ended three years later when she became engaged with Ashley Poundall. The couple currently has two sons and seems quite happy. Because she had a lot of problems with anorexia during the years, Tracy put the basis of "The Tracy Shaw Foundation" that is trying to help teenagers battle this problem.
